The clinic now provides platelet rich plasma and stem cell injections in addition to a non-surgical knee protocol to help avoid total knee replacement surgery.
Amy Austin, FNP-C
Amy has a passion for health that led her into the nursing field, and eventually to achieve her Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) degree from Clemson University (4.0 GPA). Her goal is to work in an environment where she could help patients without relying on opioids or unnecessary surgery, which is what made her the perfect fit for our medical integrative clinic.
Wayne G Laney, DC
Dr. Laney is the CEO of Upstate Spine & Joint, LLC, and has been in practice well over 40 years. He enjoys the challenges of enhancing patient’s health and wellness. He, and his wife, Marvelle, love the Upstate and feel this is where their “home’ is. Dr. Laney has been a certified instructor in the Non-Forced, Atlas Orthogonal, Upper Cervical technique. He is also a Palmer College grad, former Dean of the Sherman College health clinic and a two term Vice President of the Chiropractic Society of Washington.
Julia Ross, LPN

Julia is enthusiastic about the clinic’s approach to helping patients receive the right kind of treatments to help them postpone or even eliminate the need for invasive joint surgery. She is currently pursuing her RN.
H. Roland White II, MD
Dr. White is a MUSC graduate who comes to us with a diverse background in various areas of medical practice. In addition to providing medical counseling and oversight at our clinic, he helps patients wean off drugs and opioids in his own clinic in Greer.
